A few more features, a tiny bit less weight. The nearly four-year gap between my Air and the Pro was the longest, and the difference is astonishing.

This iPad is freakishly fast. There’s no lag to anything–changing screen orientation, opening apps, working, watching videos, whatever.

It’s the smoothest touchscreen device I’ve ever owned. The extra 0. The screen is just gorgeous. The True Tone display automatically provides the correct and most eye-pleasing color temperature for any lighting.

The screen is a fraction of the reflectivity of my iPad Air, making for a far better reading experience. Also, there was one thing I hated about the iPad Air, which was a downgrade from previous models: the screen glass was cheap.

It felt hollow, thin, and plasticky. It made noise when your fingers hit it to type.

Not this new iPad Pro. The screen feels rock-solid, and your fingers type silently. Also, the Air’s loud, clicky Home button has been replaced by a luxuriously quiet one with Touch ID fingerprint authentication.

And I love that you can now summon Siri with your voice–no need to reach for the iPad Pro and hit a button unless you want to.

For those wondering if this is good laptop replacement Artists will love what they can do with the Apple Pen. However, even with a keyboard, productivity pales in comparison to a nice PC Ultrabook which can also feature a touchscreen, pen input, and fingerprint authentication or MacBook.

You could thoroughly enjoy the device for years without reading one sentence of instruction. DON’T make that mistake. There is indeed an owner’s manual, and it’s hundreds of pages long.

Even something as small as the section on the many ways you can use the onscreen keyboard is priceless, but there’s a massive amount more.

Showing 0 comments. Sort by: Newest Oldest. This product is not new. How can you brand as new??? The last time I’ve owned an Apple product was in when I bought the iPad 2 which I sold a year laterhowever, I do use a 27″ iMac at work, so I have some experience with Apple products.

I’ve wanted to get into digital drawing more, and wanted to buy a tablet that would let me do so while on the go. After extensive research, and going hands-on with a ton of devices when I could, my final 4 choices were the Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Tab A I almost immediately discounted the Tab A, as it’s simply-HD screen, while looking good color-wise, simply did not cut it resolution wise.

I could see It also has a screen ratio which just didn’t seem to jive with drawing. So then I thought the S3 would fit the bill.

Sure, it’s a little pricey, but it’s such an improvement on the Tab A.

Beautiful screen, well-crafted, and it has the Android OS I know and love. But the S Pen still didn’t feel right to me, in weight and length, and the screen was a bit small.

Then the surface pro. The surface pro is a great machine, but I just didn’t get the feeling of a great experience using Win 10 on a mobile device.

And if I wanted to get the non-mobile processor variations, I was looking at forking over a lot more dough. So over the weekend, I decided to check out the iPad pro.

For what I want it for, there’s no comparison. For people to say otherwise is silly. The screen is absolutely unbelievable, and the lack of latency with the Apple Pencil is like drawing on paper, it just feels so good in my hand.

The build quality is impressive, and I can’t believe how light the device is. The speakers are a joy to listen to as well.

The box also came beat up. Incredibly disappointed. I am very upset as I now have to return it and reorder the iPad. Had I shopped at Apple I would be able to easily and quickly get a replacement in store.

But since I purchased from Amazon the process is going to take longer and be a hassle for me. I expect more from amazon and their sellers.

This is my third iPad, and they keep getting better. I started with an iPad 3, later upgraded to an iPad Air 2, and now this.

The jump from iPad 3 to iPad Air 2 was amazing. The jump from iPad Air 2 to iPad Pro 10,5 is nice, but certainly not as big.

Still I really like it. I’m not going to try to do a full review of this thing. If you want that, visit one of the endless websites or videos.

Instead, I am going to go over some of the things you may not hear as much about. USB 3. This is a big one for me.
