Couple weeks ago my galaxy tab After that i charged my tab and left it a couple of minutes, but when i see the charging bar it dosent gain power.
But i solved it by pressing hold the power button in 1 min 30 sec, plug in charger,30sec release power button. I cant afford to fix or buy another battery.

Far out it worked for me too Some people i know might get some life into them if i blow into their ears I thought this was stupid, but I gave this a try and it works.
I feel dumb that I didn’t think of that, but hey, it works! Try this out. Sometimes there is lint inside.

A super fine toothpick or something can get it out. Just aim for the lint and not the gold pins cause you can damage them. Show 2 more comments. Or instead of hijacking peoples post, and preventing them from getting answers they need, you could start your own forum.

Why not just order a new charge port and replace it? Just got one fixed at the store I work at. Her tablet charges fine now! Brian Aykut.
With my Galaxy Tab After doing so the tablet charged as normal.
My tablet screen is black. I can’t tell if it’s charging and I don’ really have a computer to plug it into, I know the cord is all good, plug good Did the volume button trick, nothing.
Took the back off but very leary of taking the battery out, looks like it’s taped in. Galaxy tab pro I don’t know about the pro.
It shouldn’t be too hard to remove and I bet the battery is screwed in place. Also try searching the site for a tear down that might help you see how the battery comes out.

Was not working for me after changing a new charging port, but it work normal with it’s original adapter and cable. Just try to use original charger to get rid of it.

I have no idea if this is the correct place to ask a question but I’m at my wits end. Just push the usb charging port together to tighten the port where the usb goes in but be gentle then plug it into your pc and leave it for a hour or so go back to it turn it on and it will be charging mines nearly fully charged it works awesome I did this for my galaxy s6 because the charging port was loose and it worked fine so I did the same procedure to my tablet hope this works for you as it worked for me.

Cleaning charge hole on tablet or scraping charge pins of the cable is one way to get the charge working. However the issue is that adaptors do have life.
When the original adaptor goes bad, it drains the note while on charge! To test this out, use a USB cable to charge the mobile using a laptop.
Solution is to get a new adaptor. But then you can also get a new cable because through travel and use it will also go bad too.
