Bought this as a present for my hubby who prefers this kind of phone. He had borrowed an earlier version from a friend and only wanted this one, because of its large screen and the buttons.
I was so thankful that I tracked one down on Amazon – from a supplier in Spain. A big thank you though is due to a young lady in our local Carphone Warehouse – who don’t stock it – a mistake in my view, who looked on line for me and found the model, for all I could remember is that it is a Nokia and has an extra large screen.
It is very easy to use and he is very pleased. It looks as if he won’t be using the dual SIM facility For travellers who also use a local SIM card, this is a very useful facility.
Top critical review. There is no mail in, sent or draft boxes. Instead some unexplained messaging system. No english instructions.
European plug so needs adaptor. In short this Phone is not designed for the Uk market and Amazon should remove from Uk sites. Sort by.

Also, I need a cover for it and I cannot get one in this part of the world. So much better than a so-called smart phone but not as good as Nokia’s from 8 years ago or so.
It’s not as good as the Nokia’s I used to have because it doesn’t feel as comfortable, it doesn’t have a notepad and there are no emoticon shortcuts like my previous Nokia had.
It also seems to react quite slowly to the buttons I press and because the buttons are flush with the surface, they are quite hard to “feel” which makes it not that easy to type without looking which is what I missed about Nokias of the old days.
There are not coloured fonts to choose from and it’s also got a light just above the screen which always stays on for some reason – slightly annoying, but definitely not as annoying as trying to use a smart phone.
To be honest, I am slightly disappointed, but I can’t seem to find any other phone that I’d like more at the moment. I dream of the day when Nokia makes a phone with buttons that functions as well as old Nokias, with some fancy new things that can be done on them.

Phone looks great, but disappointed as it comes with European charger. Will need to purchase another. Very disappointed. Seller needs to specify.

Good Nokia phone ,however be careful its only a 2g phone if didn’t work with 3 network sim unless there is a new version for UK use.
