PROS: 1. Large Internal Storage at 64GB I can get onto my WiFi even in my backyard! The WiFi stays strong! Camera and Video are both very good.
I took some indoor pictures, outdoor pictures and recorded videos and pictures were vivid and clear. Videos were sharp. Screen Quality The screen is very clear with vivid colors.
My ebooks are super clear on this tablet. My Bluetooth Headset sounds great with this tablet. In the box is a Samsung US Charger base and cord.

It is not fast charger but it charged plenty fast enough in my opinion. Also included is a small Get Started Booklet with directions.
Sound Quality This tablet’s speaker has good sound, however if you use the wired headset or Bluetooth, you can select Dolby sound and it sounds superb.

Upgrading from a Tab a to this Tab a and what a difference it is. It comes stock with Pie 9. As a Tab A, don’t expect much. This is a baseline model for anyone who doesn’t plan to do much other than watch videos, play mobile games, shop online or surf the web.
Only having it for a day at the time of this review April 29, I have noticed a few things: Audio Jack-in-the-box One reason you’d choose this over the other higher line Galaxy Tabs is the audio jack.
The newer models have removed them so you would need a dongle.
The placement is also at the top so if you are used to plugging at the bottom then you’ll need to remember that when using it at night.
Side buttons- More like a pet peeve The volume and power buttons are located at the top right of the tablet. They are close together enough that you may mistake volume up for power when going by sight Cameras- Haven’t tested the cameras SD card- As with SIM cards, the SD card will require the special pin to push the cover off to access it.
If you plan to save a lot of data, pics or install apps then you will need to choose the 64gb or, as I will do, get a large capacity SD card for the 32gb model.
Screen size- Compared to my older Tab A, this has a more theater style resolution. The bezel is noticeably smaller at almost hard to notice as you use.

Especially in landscape mode. Bottom buttons- The lower home, back, and recent buttons are all on screen now. With pie 9.
Mode 1 is always displayed with the ablitly to change the order of the buttons. Mode 2 is hidden. You will see three grey blurs at the bottom of the screen.
Swiping up once over that area of the grey shade displays or activates that option swipe up over middle for home, over right for back, etc.
If you swipe and hold it gives the same effect as long pressing the key. There is no flash for the camera, fingerprint reading, facial recognition is an option and so forth.
One thing I did notice is that the small bezel makes it hard to hold the tablet in landscape mode without touching the screen without a cover.
I plan to buy one that comes with a small hand strap when they produce one for this specific model. Overall, if you want the latest Tab, plan to just be a basic user with low demanding tasks and don’t want to break the bank then I’d suggest the 32gb version and add the SD card to fit you needs.
If you know you will be downloading or saving a lot then I suggest the 64 or higher version.

Not happy now. I wanted to write a review for this tablet even though I just received it a few days ago. If it dies on me or doesn’t measure up i’ll come back and revise my review.
There are very few reviews on this because it’s a fairly new release so not many people have bought it yet.
I did a lot of research for this tablet. Thanks to the confusion in searching for tablets on Amazon and this having so few reviews, I didn’t even think it was legit until I searched the Samsung website and this model came up same price here and there btw.
I buy tech like phones and laptops and use them until they die or aren’t supported with updates anymore more on that later.
I read a lot of tech reviews on this since there are hardly any reviews here. I wanted the newest tablet for the best value, to perform basic tablet functions no crazy gaming, etcon Android and this seems to be the jackpot.
